Department Overview

The Commercial Department shapes the strategic direction of our food offering across all markets—Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria, Germany, and Romania. Our goal is to drive innovation, strengthen supplier partnerships, and ensure profitability while delighting customers with outstanding assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies.

Role Overview

This role is pivotal for the final presentation of our products to customers in the online environment. You will be responsible for the presentation of the products to the customer on the website, including the insertion of all necessary legislative, product and logistical information. You will collaborate within the company with the commercial department on product launches and matching to the right categories, and with the marketing and product team on implementing customer filters.

• You will ensure that the product has the correct name, understandable to the customer

• You will communicate with suppliers and buyers regarding product changes and you will then implement them

What we expect from you / the position to perform

• Owns the quality and accuracy of the product presentation to the customer on the website.

• Owns the insertion of all necessary legislative, product, and logistical information into the system.

• Owns ensuring the product has the correct name, understandable to the customer.

• Leads the process of implementing product changes arising from communication with suppliers and buyers.

• Leads your time management and work organization to ensure all deadlines are met.

• Partners with the Commercial Department on product launches and matching to the right categories.

• Partners with the Marketing and Product team on implementing customer filters.

• Partners with Suppliers and Buyers regarding product changes (e.g., packaging, composition, allergens).

• Provides input to the Marketing and Commercial teams regarding local linguistic correctness and clarity of product names an the commercial strategy in terms of the
  correct product matching into categories to maximize sales.

• Supports the team in managing peak times and stressful situations, where the ability to push things forward and finish things is necessary.

• Supports the work of other departments by delivering accurate and flawless data and information.

• Receives updates from the Product Listing & EDI Manager regarding priorities and process changes and Suppliers regarding new products, packaging, composition, and legislative requirements.

We are looking for someone with an eye for detail and the drive to see things through to completion:

• Excellent local market language knowledge in written form – a strong feeling for the language, and good knowledge of local spelling rules.

• High level of diligence and ability to focus on detail.

• Ability to push things forward and finish things when working under stress.

• Experience with product listing and copywriting is an advantage.
