The role

Ideals is scaling fast in the US, and we are looking for a Director, Key Accounts (Corporate) to accelerate our growth as the first-choice VDR provider in the region. Based in Texas, Tennessee, or Indiana and reporting to the VP of Sales, you'll build a brand new team from the ground up, hiring and developing up to 11 high-performing Account Executives who'll win new clients and open new verticals.

This is a rare chance to shape a function from day one, setting the strategy and building the playbook. We seek a proven sales leader with a track record of both individual contribution and team leadership. You’ll ultimately drive regional growth, balancing team development with hands-on deal execution.

The role calls for a strong advocate of value-based selling who leverages sales metrics to inform strategy, optimize performance, and coach the team to exceed targets.

What you will do

• Build and develop your team. Hire, mentor, and develop up to 11 new sales professionals, owning their full employee lifecycle and fostering continuous learning to help them achieve their personal and business goals.

• Drive performance. Define operational metrics, drive functional outcomes, and report results to executive leadership.

• Grow the business. Win new corporate clients, secure strategic partnerships, and support key deals directly to ensure both immediate and long-term success.

• Collaborate and align. Foster a highly collaborative environment within your team and across the entire customer lifecycle. Partner with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, Finance, and Executive teams to hit shared goals.

• Lead by example. Represent Ideals and its values in high-stakes customer interactions and at industry events. Stay current on market trends and competition, and best practices to inform strategy.

What you bring

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in new business development sales

• 5+ years of outbound Enterprise sales managerial experience

• Professional sales background within the B2B SaaS industry with solid expertise in system transactional sales, sales methodology, techniques, and negotiation practices

• Experience in managing small-medium teams of individual contributors across Enterprise sales teams

• First-line management leadership skills with a passion for fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented team culture

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

• High energy and enthusiasm for driving results, achieving goals, and delivering exceptional customer experience
