The role

To support the expansion of the Ideals VDR line of business in LATAM, we're looking for an Account Executive based in Bogotá. Joining our growing Colombia team, you will own and develop a portfolio of strategic corporate accounts across industries — manufacturing, retail, financial services, and beyond — building relationships that turn prospects into long-term customers.

As a front-line, quota-carrying team member, you will actively reach out to new customers and manage a pipeline of opportunities end to end, from origination to close. Engaging proactively and in person with decision-makers across a wide range of sectors, you'll accelerate our revenue growth in the Colombian market.

This is a field-based role: you'll spend 2–3 days a week meeting clients in Bogotá, supported by a corporate card and full travel reimbursement.

What you will do

• Build relationships with key stakeholders and industry influencers throughout Colombia

• Deliver sales targets by focusing on new customer acquisition, with quarterly revenue quotas

• Proactively build and manage a pipeline across 10–15 strategic accounts, constantly developing new opportunities

• Actively contribute to the execution of the sales and marketing strategy for the Colombian market

• Use discovery and solution-selling skills to understand customer needs and build a value proposition around them

• Take part in arranging M&A Community events, enhancing Ideals' visibility

• Deliver compelling product presentations and demos to clients, face-to-face and virtually

• Structure, negotiate, and close deals, including guiding clients through procurement, legal, and compliance steps

• Consistently share insights and provide updates to customers

• Provide relevant customer feedback to the product development and management teams

• Collaborate with Customer Success and Commercial Sales to grow customer satisfaction and the company's revenue

• Keep an accurate, up-to-date record of sales activity and forecasting in the CRM

What you bring

• 2+ years of experience in a full-cycle (360°) closing role — from origination to close — within B2B or professional services

• A consistent track record of hitting or exceeding quota in a complex, non-commodity B2B sales environment (SaaS, financial services, or similarly complex products — not telecom, outsourced services, or physical products)

• Comfort navigating discovery and multi-stakeholder deals; SPIN/MEDDIC-style questioning is a plus

• Exceptional business communication skills to structure persuasive pitches and navigate client discovery

• Native-level Spanish and English at C1

• Genuine tech curiosity and comfort using AI tools day to day — no specific sales tool experience required

Nice to have

• SaaS, Financial, or Fintech industry background/degree

• Familiarity with sales engagement tools such as Salesloft or Zoom
