The role

To support the expansion of the Ideals VDR in the Netherlands, we are looking for our first on-the-ground Account Executive (net new logo sales) based in the Amsterdam area.

Joining our Key Accounts team, you will focus on high-value target accounts - building the kind of relationships that turn prospects into long-term customers.

As a front-line, quota-carrying team member, you will actively reach out to new customers and oversee a pipeline of opportunities to close deals. Engaging proactively with C-suite and key account decision-makers across Finance, Banking, and other sectors, you will contribute directly to our growth story in the Netherlands market.

Tech stack we use: LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot, Amplemarket.

Compensation package: 50% base salary; 50% performance-based variable, uncapped.

What you will do

• Build relationships with key stakeholders and industry influencers in the Amsterdam area

• Deliver sales targets by focusing on new customer acquisition

• Proactively build and manage a pipeline, working with strategic accounts in the Netherlands and constantly developing new opportunities

• Actively contribute to the execution of the sales and marketing strategy

• Take part in arranging M&A community events, enhancing Ideals' visibility

• Deliver compelling product presentations to clients

• Structure, negotiate, and close deals

• Consistently share insights and provide updates to customers

• Provide relevant customer feedback to the product development and management teams

• Collaborate with Customer Success and Commercial Sales to grow customer satisfaction and the company's revenue

What you bring

• 1+ years of experience in a full 360 closing role within the B2B or professional services sector

• Experience in high-velocity sales environments and ability to effectively engage with C-level decision-makers

• A track record of successfully managing pipelines and closing deals

• Exceptional business communication skills to structure persuasive pitches and navigate client discovery

• Native-level proficiency in Dutch with advanced English (C1+ level)
