Carrier Procurement Analyst

About the Role

The Procurement Analyst is responsible for supporting carrier procurement activities across Mexico and Cross-Border operations. This role focuses on carrier sourcing, supplier development, market analysis, and cost optimization to build a competitive carrier network while supporting business growth and operational excellence.

What the Candidate Will Do

• Support carrier sourcing initiatives and bidding events.
• Identify, onboard, and develop new carrier partners.
• Analyze transportation market trends, capacity, and pricing to support procurement decisions.
• Negotiate transportation rates and support contract execution.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and support network optimization initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with carrier partners.
• Monitor carrier performance and support Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
• Partner with Operations, Capacity, Pricing, and Sales to support customer opportunities and carrier strategies.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis and market intelligence.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in Procurement, Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving & attention to detail skills.
• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Advanced English (written and verbal).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Transportation Procurement or Carrier Management.
• Knowledge of transportation market trends and strategic sourcing.
• Experience with Tableau, dashboards, and reporting tools.
• Experience working with TMS platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
• Results-oriented with the ability to work under pressure.
• Willingness to travel to the U.S. as business needs require.
