Senior Accountant – Corporate & Manufacturing Plant

Contract Opportunity - Senior Accountant – Corporate & Manufacturing Plant – Cincinnati, OH

6-Month Contract Role (No conversion to permanent employment. Contract may be extended at the end of the assignment.)

Work with a Fortune 25 retailer headquartered in Cincinnati supporting large-scale manufacturing and finance operations.

Location: Downtown Cincinnati, OH
Schedule: 100% Onsite, Monday-Friday
Pay Rate: $50-$55/hour

About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to support manufacturing operations and plant financial reporting. This individual will be responsible for manufacturing cost accounting, inventory and WIP reconciliations, cost analysis, month-end close activities, financial reporting, and partnership with plant leadership. The role will also provide oversight and mentorship to one accounting team member.

What We're Looking For:

• 3+ years of manufacturing or cost accounting experience
• Strong understanding of inventory accounting, COGS, and cost allocation methodologies
• Experience with standard costing, job costing, or process costing
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Infor
• Strong month-end close and financial reporting experience
• Advanced Excel and analytical skills
• Ability to explain cost variances and provide operational insights
• Experience partnering with manufacturing or plant operations teams preferred
