What You'll Do

As the Plumbing Service Manager, you'll oversee the daily operations of the plumbing service department while developing technicians, improving operational performance, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, coach, and mentor Plumbing Service Technicians
• Conduct ride-alongs and performance coaching
• Complete performance evaluations and development plans
• Hold team members accountable to company standards
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and technician development
• Foster a positive, high-performing team culture

Operational Leadership

• Manage daily department operations
• Monitor revenue, average ticket, conversion rates, and department KPIs
• Improve technician productivity and operational efficiency
• Partner closely with Dispatch and Customer Service teams
• Ensure proper scheduling and staffing levels
• Develop and implement operational improvements

Customer Experience

• Ensure exceptional customer service on every call
• Assist in resolving escalated customer concerns
• Promote professionalism, communication, and trust
• Maintain high workmanship and service quality standards

Performance Management

• Review department performance metrics regularly
• Forecast staffing and operational needs
• Track departmental goals and performance
• Report key metrics to executive leadership
• Develop action plans to improve performance and profitability

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential plumbing experience preferred
• Previous plumbing leadership or management experience preferred
• Strong leadership and coaching skills
• Experience managing KPIs and technician performance
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organizational and operational management abilities
• Experience with ServiceTitan preferred
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
