The Role:

The Social Media Manager plays a key role in expanding Second Harvest's reach and visibility among both business audiences (B2B) including food businesses, donors and industry stakeholders and the general public (B2C), using social media to educate Canadians about food rescue, food waste and the impact of our work.

Working alongside the Marketing & Communications team, you'll lead the social media strategy and execution for organizational campaigns, developing channel-specific content plans that build awareness, grow our community and inspire action.

We're looking for a strategic, creative and data-driven marketer who excels in storytelling, community building and content creation. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing paid social campaigns, analyzing performance data and confidently representing Second Harvest on camera as a trusted voice of the organization.
