About the role

You'll own quality across Salmon's referral platform — a product used by promoters, partners, and customers across the Philippines — as the team ships PWA migration, Agent App integration, and new tools for program growth.

What you'll do

• Test and maintain quality across customer-facing referral and promoter-facing applications where product issues directly affect acquisition, activation, and partner engagement.

• Work with Engineers, Product Managers, and Designers throughout the development cycle — from test planning to release — across web, API, and cross-device environments.

• Build and integrate API test coverage into CI/CD pipelines to improve release confidence and reduce regression risk.

What you'll own

• Design and execute test scenarios using structured test design techniques across new features and product improvements.

• Build and maintain API test coverage using Postman, Newman, Supertest, or similar tools; test REST APIs and GraphQL services.

• Validate user journeys, usability, and interface quality across web applications; verify behavior across browsers, devices, and operating systems.

• Run performance testing and analyze system behavior under load.

• Identify, document, and investigate defects, risks, and quality issues clearly and consistently.

• Integrate tests into CI/CD workflows to maintain release confidence across product updates.

What makes you a strong fit

• 3+ years of experience testing web applications.

• Strong manual testing skills with experience writing test cases and test documentation.

• Experience testing REST APIs and GraphQL services; hands-on with Postman, Newman, Supertest, or similar tools.

• Understanding of modern frontend applications and rendering approaches — SSR, SSG, and client-side rendering.

• Experience with cross-browser and cross-device testing and browser developer tools.

• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD workflows.

• Solid understanding of software testing principles and test design techniques.
