Executive Vice President, Marketing

Location: Playa Vista, California (in-person, five days per week)

Outpost is building a new category of space infrastructure: a reliable return lane from orbit to Earth. Our platform serves three large and evolving markets - commercial space and in-space manufacturing, civil space research and exploration, and national security logistics - giving the company a distinctive story and a diverse set of customers and stakeholders to engage.

Outpost is now entering a consequential stage of growth. The technology, customer traction, and market opportunity are coming together, and a comprehensive brand refresh is about to launch. For the right marketing leader, this is an opportunity to take a strong platform - not start over - and turn it into sustained market presence, trusted relationships, and measurable business impact as the company scales.

The Opportunity

Outpost is seeking a senior marketing executive to convert this momentum into a sophisticated, repeatable market-engagement engine. Reporting to the President, this leader will steward and activate the refreshed brand while shaping how Outpost is understood and experienced across commercial, civil, national security, investor, partner, media, and talent audiences.

The role centers on translating company strategy into sustained market engagement: relationship strategy, customer marketing across long and complex business development paths, integrated event and communications cycles, news and announcement planning, executive visibility, and disciplined marketing operations. It also requires independent leadership - setting direction, initiating work with limited executive prompting, establishing clear priorities and accountability, and building the systems and team required for consistent execution. You will partner closely with executive leadership and leaders across engineering, programs, business development, government sales, operations, and recruiting.
