Key reponsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement new features and capabilities for the API Platform to improve functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Act as the subject matter expert for the API Platform, providing guidance on complex API challenges and contributing to technical design and build decisions.
- Partner with internal development teams to onboard and migrate APIs to Apigee, offering technical mentorship and hands-on support.
- Support the operational health, security, scalability, and performance of the API Platform, including monitoring, incident management, and infrastructure optimisation across cloud environments.
- Drive improvements in DevOps, automation, API governance, and developer experience through CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated testing, platform standards, documentation, and enhancements to the Developer Portal.
We would love to hear from you, if you have the following skills/experience.
- Full-stack Developer experience with frontend and backend.
- Proficiency in API Platform, including API proxies, shared flows, policies, and security measures. Experience with Azure APIM would be beneficial.
- Solid working knowledge of Azure cloud.
- Proficient knowledge of DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code
- Experience in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, Node.js, Go).
