MANAGEMENT TEAM

You'll take on full ownership of our AI strategy and delivery: shaping the internal AI Intelligence platform, driving the missed revenue detection engine, automating business processes end-to-end, and enabling every team in the company to build securely, consistently, and at scale.

YOU

You are a strong leader with extensive full-stack engineering experience, ready to operate in a strategic role. You have hands-on experience building production AI systems and you know how to turn LLM capabilities into reliable, useful products that people actually adopt.

You have experience working across APIs, LLM tooling, MCP-based integrations, agents, RAG systems, and vector databases in real production environments. You move quickly, make pragmatic decisions, and improve systems iteratively based on real usage and feedback.

At the same time, you speak business language, get buy-in from sceptical stakeholders, and understand that the biggest obstacle to AI adoption is rarely the technology.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Lead the group-wide AI strategy and roadmap across all Mediatech brands and teams

• Decide which AI initiatives to build, in what order, and for what business impact

• Own AI governance, including access tiers, security approvals, training, and EU data residency compliance

• Build and scale a “missed revenue” detection bot across the company

• Detect affiliate gaps, partner opportunities, content blind spots, and traffic anomalies early, with automatic owner assignment and context

• Deliver daily revenue “red flags” with recommended actions, targeting €1M+ in recovered or unlocked revenue per year

• Develop and own the AI intelligence platform connecting data sources (e.g. Snowflake, Google Drive, ClickUp, affiliate reporting, Slack-based AI interface)

• Design scalable APIs, templates, and event-driven workflows for AI-powered applications and services

• Fully understand our business model and operations, then map and automate end-to-end processes to retire major categories of manual work by year-end

WHAT WE EXPECT

• Experience owning AI strategy and delivering production systems — not consulting, not advisory, shipped products with real adoption

• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic), including using tools, structured outputs, streaming, and keeping an eye on costs

• Strong understanding of MCP, agentic workflows, prompt/context engineering, and RAG systems

• Security-aware mindset: GDPR and EU data residency considerations, audit logging, and access controls; experience with OAuth 2.0 is a plus

• Strong engineering judgment — able to balance speed, quality, and complexity under real constraints

• Ability to get business buy-in and translate messy processes into automation specs that engineers can execute

• Product-minded and execution-focused, with a bias toward shipping AI systems that deliver real business value

• You don’t need to tick every box — we’re looking for strong experience across several of these areas and a fast learner for the rest

NICE TO HAVE

• Hands-on experience with n8n, Cloudflare Workers, or serverless automation tooling

• Experience building AI-powered internal tools, Slack apps or bots, and complex integrations across business systems

• Comfortable with modern data stacks: SQL, practical data modelling, Snowflake (or similar warehouses), and at least one vector database

• Strong skills in TypeScript/Node.js and React for building and iterating on web applications

• Comfort working with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, GitLab, and self-hosted or restricted deployment environments

• Worked with observability tooling, evals, or regression testing for LLM-based products

• Affiliate, media, or performance marketing domain knowledge

• Experience managing or growing a small technical team

GROSS SALARY

From 6000 EUR/month. Keep in mind that we are open to discuss a different salary based on your skills and competences
