About the India Design Studio

We are establishing an India Design Studio in Gurugram to support Inizio Ignite's global teams. The studio will operate as a central design hub, working with business-unit spokes across Research Partnership, Putnam, Vynamic, STEM and Innovation & Growth.

The Design Studio will turn complex strategic, scientific and commercial content into clear, persuasive client stories. It will support high-value business development and client-facing work, including proposals, RFP responses, pitch decks, credentials, case studies, thought leadership and other priority materials.

Our goal is to improve the quality, speed and consistency of these materials; strengthen how Ignite presents its connected expertise; and build reusable design assets and ways of working that support client delivery and growth.

How quality works in the studio

Quality is shared. Everyone who creates or edits work is accountable for the accuracy and quality of their contribution. Designers complete a structured self-check before handover. The Production & QA Assistant provides independent, checklist-based review and delivery control. The Senior Designer provides creative oversight and final design sign-off for priority or high-risk work. Business stakeholders remain accountable for factual content, client requirements and final business approval.

How we use AI

Approved AI and automation tools may be used to support brief understanding, content structuring, asset discovery, layout exploration, tagging and quality checks. They are enabling tools rather than substitutes for design craft. Human judgement, confidentiality, accessibility, brand integrity and final accountability always come first.

Your primary role

Designer - India Design Studio

This role is a developing presentation designer who delivers high-quality, client-facing work within agreed standards and timelines. You will improve the clarity, structure and visual impact of proposals, RFP responses, pitch decks and related materials, while building the judgement and independence required to progress in the team.

What you will do

• Own the design and delivery of proposals, RFP responses, pitch decks, credentials, case studies, thought leadership and other priority client-facing materials.
• Translate strategic, scientific and commercial content into clear visual narratives, page structures, diagrams and data stories.
• Develop credible visual options based on the audience, content maturity, client context and available time.
• Manage multiple assignments independently, clarify briefs with business stakeholders and flag scope, timing or quality risks early.
• Apply and reinforce Inizio Ignite brand standards, templates, accessibility requirements and final-file standards.
• Provide constructive craft feedback and practical support to Designer 1 colleagues, while escalating priority creative decisions to the Senior Designer.
• Own the quality of your work, complete the studio self-check and resolve issues identified through creative review or independent QA.
• Create and refine reusable templates, slide components, visual systems, iconography and data-visualisation patterns.
• Maintain clean, editable, accessible, correctly named and version-controlled files that support reliable handover and future reuse.
• Use approved AI tools responsibly to accelerate understanding, exploration and production, while ensuring every output is accurate, appropriate and human-reviewed.
• Contribute to studio standards, onboarding materials, knowledge capture and continuous improvement.

 

About you

Your skills and experience

• Around 4+ years of experience in presentation design, visual design, production design or a related creative role, ideally in healthcare, life sciences, consulting, professional services or an agency environment.
• A strong portfolio showing polished client-facing presentation work, visual storytelling, slide redesign, data visualisation and alternative creative approaches.
• Advanced PowerPoint skills and strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma or similar tools; charting experience would be advantageous.
• Strong command of layout, typography, hierarchy, information design, brand application and final-file quality.
• Ability to work directly with stakeholders, challenge unclear briefs constructively and manage expectations across several concurrent requests.
• Experience giving useful craft feedback or supporting the development of less-experienced designers.
• Practical AI literacy and the judgement to evaluate AI-assisted outputs critically and responsibly.
• High attention to detail, strong prioritisation and confidence working under time pressure without compromising core quality standards.
• Ideal profile

This role sits within the Design Studio career framework of Production & QA Assistant, a Design team and Senior Designer. Further information

This is a full-time role and is expected to follow a hybrid working pattern, based at our Inizio location in Gurugram. The role will support global teams across time zones, so flexibility to work within agreed UK- and US-aligned collaboration windows may be required. The exact reporting line, working pattern and hours will be confirmed during the recruitment process.
