Platform Implementation - Assistant Vice President

About the Role

iCapital is looking for a talented Assistant Vice President to join the APAC Platform Solutions team in Singapore. The role encompasses supporting multiple projects focused on technical implementation and client delivery, while also addressing the technical and operational needs of all platform offerings. Additionally, you will identify and support the development of custom features for new partners, including designing and implementing unique platform features.

This role requires strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage client facing project delivery. The ideal candidate combines these capabilities with a passion for learning and growth, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities 

As an Assistant Vice President, you will support multiple projects and tasks, focusing on technical implementation and client delivery. These tasks may include: 

 

Client Onboarding & Solution Delivery 

• Support client onboarding activities through requirements gathering, workflow analysis and platform configurations.  

• Participate in client workshops and solution design sessions to understand business processes and implementation requirements.  

• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, platform configurations and testing scenarios. 

• Define and execute test cases, coordinate testing activities and support production deployment readiness.  

Platform Configuration & Integration 

• Configure platform functionality to support client business requirements and target operating models. 

• Support integration setup activities including SSO, SFTP, APIs and file-based data exchanges. 

• Validate system configuration changes and perform testing to ensure expected outcomes. Troubleshoot implementation issues and work with internal teams to drive resolution. 

• Document integration specifications, workflows and implementation procedures. 

Data Integration & Data Analysis: 

• Analyze and validate data from various sources to ensure data accuracy and completeness.  

• Support data mapping, transformation and reconciliation activities during client / partner  onboarding.  

• Assist in setup client-specific reports and data extracts. 

Project Management & Coordination: 

• Support implementation projects by tracking milestones, risks, action items and deliverables.  

• Prepare project status updates, meeting notes and implementation documentation. 

• Maintain implementation documentation and promote knowledge sharing across the team. 

• Support senior team members in evaluating client requirements and contributing to new implementation opportunities. 

 

Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Finance Technology, or a related field. 

• 6+ years of work experience in business analysis, technology implementation, system integration, solution delivery or related roles. Experience in client-facing solution delivery and hands on implementation experience is preferred.  

• Experience working in the financial services, wealth management, asset management, fintech or SaaS platforms is advantageous. 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in SQL, REST APIs, SFTP, data transformation, data mapping, and enterprise systems integration. Ability to investigate data issues, perform root cause analysis, and validate end-to-end business workflows. 

• Excellent communication and documentation skills with ability to articulate business process and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audience. 

• Strong willingness to learn new technologies, business processes and platform capabilities.  

• Strong work ethic and a high degree of accountability and a proactive mindset with curiosity to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 

• Demonstrate ownership, accountability, strong attention to detail, and a hands-on approach to delivery. 

• Excellent written and verbal skills in English, other languages a plus.
