Position Summary

The Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP) Manager provides overall leadership, administration, and oversight of the school's Expanded Learning Opportunities Program. The ELOP Manager is responsible for designing and maintaining a high-quality, compliant, financially sustainable expanded learning program that supports student learning, engagement, and well-being.

The ELOP Manager oversees all aspects of program operations, including program design and implementation, staffing, supervision, budgeting, enrollment, billing, compliance, family engagement, staff development, and continuous improvement. The ELOP Manager works closely with the School Director and other ELOP Managers and other school leaders to ensure the program operates in alignment with organizational priorities, grant requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and all applicable laws and regulations.

• Knowledge of California Expanded Learning Opportunities Program requirements and best practices. 

• Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, regulations, and collective bargaining agreements. 

• Excellent organizational and project management skills. 

• Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities. 

• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

• Ability to build strong relationships with students, families, staff, and community partners. 

• Commitment to equity, inclusion, and positive youth development. 

• Proficiency with technology platforms used for communication, scheduling, data management, and budgeting.
