Are you a skilled Pet Stylist with a passion for creating exceptional experiences for pets and their families? We are redefining pet care, and we want you to be part of our team. With a beautifully designed workspace, state-of-the-art tools, and a supportive environment, you’ll have the opportunity to focus on what you do best—providing top-notch grooming services while building meaningful relationships with clients. This is a fully traveling position; the Stylist may be asked to cover multiple centers throughout a single week or be stationed at a specific center for a period of time. The majority of Heart + Paw locations with Style services are within a 90-minute drive of the Greater Philadelphia Area. The Stylist may be asked periodically to travel to other locations within our geographic footprint if there is urgent need.

Responsibilities Include: 

• Delivering professional grooming services tailored to each pet’s needs. 
• Building and maintaining a loyal client base through excellent service and communication. 
• Applying advanced grooming techniques, including contemporary cuts, coloring, and styling. 
• Collaborating with veterinary, daycare, and retail teams to enhance the overall pet care experience. 
• Maintaining a clean, safe workspace and promoting all center services. 

 

What We’re Looking For: 

• Experience: 2+ years as a professional groomer. 
• Skills: Expertise in modern grooming practices, animal behavior knowledge, and strong interpersonal abilities. 
• Passion: A love for pets and the art of grooming. 
• Physical Stamina: Ability to handle pets of all sizes. 
• Entrepreneurial Spirit: Eagerness to grow your client base and contribute to the team. 
• Certifications: Fear Free, HABRI, or Low-Stress Handling certification (preferred). 
• Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using technology to enhance the pet parent experience. 

 

Bonus Points: 

• Experience grooming cats. 
• Continuing education or certifications in pet grooming.
