This is a fully on-site position based in Miami, Florida. Candidates must currently reside in the Miami area.
We are looking for a Technical Project Manager with a strong Technical Business Analyst background to support a banking and payments modernization program. This role combines delivery leadership with hands-on requirements gathering, process documentation, and close collaboration with engineering teams to drive successful project execution.
What You Can Expect (Responsibilities)
- Lead project planning, execution, and delivery across cross-functional teams.
- Manage scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and maintain delivery visibility through project tracking tools.
- Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
- Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
- Partner with engineering teams to define system interactions, APIs, and payment workflows.
- Ensure alignment between requirements, technical solutions, and delivered outcomes.
Requirements
- 6+ years of combined Project Management and Business Analysis experience in software delivery environments.
- Strong experience in banking and payments, including payments processing and modernization initiatives.
- Ability to work effectively with engineering teams and understand cloud-based, API-driven, and event-driven architectures.
- Proven experience gathering requirements and producing user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation.
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and delivery tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience leveraging AI tools for documentation, analysis, and requirements definition.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of ISO 20022, Fedwire, or other payment industry standards.
- Experience with Lucid chart, Miro, draw.io, BPMN, or similar modeling tools.
- Background in Software Engineering or QA.
- Familiarity with AI concepts such as MCP, RAG, and agentic systems.
