Role Overview

Working within our Data Platform & Infrastructure team, the AI Solutions Engineer will lead the design, configuration, and ongoing management of AI-powered solutions that enhance how Chartis teams and clients work. This role sits within Chartis’ Strategic Intelligence & Technology (CSIT) organization and operates at the intersection of business strategy, enterprise tooling, and applied AI delivery. The AI Solutions Engineer is focused on operationalizing AI capabilities across the firm by delivering automation-driven, business-aligned solutions for our lines of business.

This is not a traditional machine learning engineering role. Instead, the position requires a technically fluent, platform-oriented builder who can translate business needs into scalable, governed AI agents using low-code/no-code tools and integrated enterprise platforms.

The role combines hands-on agent development with lifecycle ownership, governance alignment, and cross-functional collaboration. The AI Solutions Engineer will act as both builder and steward of the firm’s AI agent ecosystem.

This role requires strong solution design skills, applied AI experience, and the ability to work directly with stakeholders to refine requirements, implement appropriate governance controls, and deliver reliable, high-impact tools that meet near-term team and client needs.
