Senior Accountant (with Controlling Responsibilities)

Braiins is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team in the center of Prague. If you love working with numbers and want to help keep the finances of a growing Bitcoin company in top shape, we'd like to hear from you.

As our Senior Accountant, you'll take ownership of day-to-day bookkeeping, support the month- and year-end close, and help turn financial data into clear, accurate information for company management. The role combines hands-on accounting with room to take on controlling and analytical work.

🤝 Key Responsibilities:

• Support the month-end and year-end close and the annual statutory audit.

• Maintain management reports.

• Collaborate with internal teams and support smooth financial operations.

• Enter and post incoming invoices, and issue outgoing invoices.

• Account for cash and bank transactions, including reconciliations.

• Prepare payment orders and support the payment cycle.

• Ensure accurate financial records and support reliable financial reporting.

• Help turn financial data into clear, accurate information for company management.
  Work comfortably with international colleagues (US branch).

🔎 We are looking for someone with these qualities:

• At least 5 years of accounting experience, ideally including full close cycles.

• Solid knowledge of Czech double-entry accounting.

• The ability to manage your own agenda independently.

• English at a communicative level — enough to work comfortably with international colleagues (US branch).

• Secondary or university education in accounting, finance, or a related field.
