ABOUT BESTOW

Life insurance is one of the world's most important products. It's also one of the hardest to build, distribute, and modernize. Bestow exists to change that.

Bestow is a leading vertical technology platform serving some of the largest and most innovative life insurers. Our platform unifies the fragmented, legacy value chain, enabling carriers to launch products in weeks instead of years. Carriers choose us to scale and operate at unprecedented speed, powered by AI and automation.

Bestow isn't selling policies. We're building the infrastructure that helps an entire industry move faster, reach more people, and deliver on its promise.

Backed by leading investors (Goldman Sachs, Hedosophia, NEA, Valar, 8VC) and trusted by major carriers, Bestow is powered by a team that moves with precision, purpose, and heart. If you want to help reimagine a centuries-old industry with lasting impact, join us.

Bestow offers flexible remote/hybrid work, meaningful benefits, equity, and substantial growth opportunities.

ABOUT THE TEAM

The Bestow Product organization is responsible for defining, designing, and delivering exceptional digital experiences that solve real problems. Our team collaborates across Engineering, Revenue, and Ops to transform ideas into intuitive, valuable solutions that delight our users. We believe in evidence-based decision making and maintaining a relentless focus on customer outcomes to drive product excellence.

You will join the Underwriting module — the team shaping how underwriters and managers work inside the Bestow workbench: case management, capacity and workload, analytics, and the AI-enabled experiences that make complex insurance decisions faster and more trustworthy. This is operational, B2B product design in a regulated domain — dense workflows, high stakes, and real users who depend on clarity under pressure.

You will report to the Senior Manager, UX Design. This role is open to Remote (US). #LIRemote

ABOUT THE ROLE

Bestow is seeking a Product Designer II to join our Underwriting module's mission of making insurance more accessible and human-centered. You'll own design for key workbench initiatives — turning complex underwriting and manager workflows into experiences that are clear, efficient, and defensible.

We're looking for a designer who combines strong research instincts with the ability to shape and ship ideas quickly. The most meaningful work on this team happens where ambiguity is high: discovery starts before requirements are fully baked, and the best designers here don't wait for a finished PRD — they help define the problem, test direction, and bring partners along with evidence.

This team is prototype-first. You'll work in Figma and in coded prototypes — often in shared repos alongside engineering and product — using AI tooling to move faster without sacrificing judgment. If you're energized by the shift from static handoffs to living prototypes, and you can speak concretely to how you've adapted your workflow between canvas and code, you'll thrive here.
