HR Generalist

About the Role

At ARX Robotics, people are the foundation of everything we build. As an HR Generalist, you will shape the employee experience across the full lifecycle, from offer acceptance through development and offboarding. You will make the ARX experience clear, well-organized, and human.

This is a hands-on role with a direct impact on how people join, contribute, and grow in a fast-moving defense technology company building autonomous ground systems for Europe’s security and resilience. You will work closely with teams across the Kyiv office and our international organization.

What You’ll Build

• A seamless preboarding and onboarding experience, including documentation, access setup, welcome sessions, and a well-prepared first day.
• Accurate HR documentation, headcount records, personal data, and compensation information across the organization.
• Reliable payroll administration in partnership with Finance, including accurate monthly inputs for hires, terminations, salary changes, bonuses, leave, and absences.
• Clear alignment between roles, grades, organizational structure, and compensation levels.
• Military registration records and reservation processes for military-liable employees, conscripts, and reservists, in line with current Ukrainian legislation.
• Structured Probation Reviews and Performance Reviews that help managers have useful, constructive conversations.
• Learning and development processes, including training coordination and individual development plans.
• A respectful, well-coordinated offboarding experience, with exit interviews and insights that inform retention decisions.
• Practical HR policies, procedures, and People processes that support the way ARX Robotics works.
• Internal events, learning sessions, and team activities that help people connect and feel part of the ARX Robotics team.

What You Bring

• 2–3 years of experience in an HR Generalist, HR Specialist, HR Operations, or similar role.
• A solid understanding of Ukrainian labor law and core HR administration practices.
• Experience with military registration and reservation procedures under current Ukrainian legislation. Familiarity with Diia City operations is a plus.
• Experience creating and maintaining internal HR policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Confidence working with Excel, Google Sheets, MS Office, HR platforms, and people data.
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher, with the ability to communicate clearly with an international team.
• Attention to detail, ownership of outcomes, and discretion when handling sensitive information.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities, stay organized, and maintain quality when plans change.
• A clear and trustworthy communication style, combined with the independence to plan work and follow through.
• A practical approach to ambiguous situations and the initiative to find solutions without waiting to be told what to do next.
