Latam Marketing Content Sr. Manager

Adyen is looking for a strategic, organized and data-driven content and narrative leader. This role will work from our Sao Paulo office and report directly to the Head of Marketing Latam. 

The Latam Marketing Content Sr. Manager role is responsible for ensuring that our messages and content are executed in line with goals and timelines. The successful candidate understands how to drive brand stewardship, positioning strategy, internal alignment and is an expert in project manager. 

What you’ll do:

• Narrative and Content Development: 
• Partner closely with PR to develop, localize, and elevate local marketing narratives and brand tone of voice across Mexico and Brazil.
• Partner with Marketeers, Product, Account Managers and Sales to identify top regional merchants, develop high-impact localized case studies, and enhance/refine sales pitches to directly support revenue goals.
• Internal enablement: train, guide, and align internal Adyen teams (Marketing, Sales, Account Management, Commercial leadership) on brand positioning and messaging frameworks.
• Team Leadership & Mentorship: 
• Guide, grow, and elevate the local multidisciplinary creative team (Design, Content/Copywriting, and NextGen roles), fostering a culture of high ownership, responsibility, and professional skill development.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to prioritize and improve key projects
• Efficiency & Productivity: 
• Scale the studio's capacity to address growing local business needs, effectively allocating tasks and forecasting resource needs.
• Being the contact for external partner collaboration such as creative agencies.
• Serve as the main point of contact for local and global marketing stakeholders to prioritize key initiatives, and manage and guide external creative agencies.
• Maintain an overview of the jobs flowing through our studio, tracking progress and help identifying areas for improvements. 
• Assist in developing documentation, including training, process outlines and implementations if needed. 
• Marketing & Campaign Execution:
• Oversee the end-to-end creative support for integrated marketing campaigns spanning digital marketing (social, display, email, SEO/SEM assets) and offline initiatives.
• Plan, design, and execute end-to-end event management creatively, from spatial booth design and experiential setups to localized promotional assets for major events such as VTEX Day, ECBR, Adyen Connect, and Casa Adyen and others.
• Studio Operations & Tooling:
• Define and implement local studio strategy and OKRs in collaboration with Head of Marketing Latam and Global Studio leads.
• Implement, standardize, and improve regional workflows and tooling to increase asset-creation efficiency and speed.
• Using data to forecast projects & resources for the coming years. 
• Manage key brand projects connected to local business needs in Brazil and Mexico.
• Oversee and deliver end-to-end creative branding, messaging, spatial design, and localized promotional assets for major flagship industry touchpoints (including VTEX Day, ECBR, Adyen Connect, and Casa Adyen, Digital Assets and Campaigns)

Who you are:

• Experienced Leader: 10+ years of experience in creative content strategy, brand strategy, or editorial leadership, also project management, production, operations, narrative-driven marketing roles, agency operations, or holistic marketing roles covering digital marketing, events, and brand campaigns. Understanding of the full marketing ecosystem, from digital channels, content strategy to events management and experiential marketing.
• Financial Market or Payments Ecosystem Experience: Deep familiarity with the financial services and payments landscape in LATAM (specifically Mexico and Brazil).
• Content & Narrative Expert: Strong content and copywriting background with proven experience shaping brand narrative, tone of voice, and commercially focused sales collateral.
• Multidisciplinary People Manager: A track record of mentoring and developing diverse creative talent, putting the team first, and driving collaboration across technical, creative, and commercial units.
• Process-Oriented & Agile: Passion for structure, process, and communication, with deep expertise in content governance, editorial workflows, brand consistency and the creative process from brief, review, sign-off to multi-channel launch.
• Hands-on & Resilient: Highly organized with a collaborative "hands-on" mentality; comfortable rolling with the unexpected and holding a firm but constructive stance when prioritizing workload (comfortable saying "No" when needed).
• Strong Communicator: Exceptional stakeholder and relationship management skills, with full professional proficiency (written and verbal) in English and Spanish.
